The Lebus team appeared in a short lived TV quiz show Top Firm hosted by Kenneth Horne. My father Ken Nash is on the left. Lebus won their first round (filmed in Tottenham or Woodley) against Aspro-Nicholas, a pharmaceutical firm based in Slough. Afterwards Ken rather generously sent an armchair to each member of the losing team. However, it then transpired that the TV recording wasn’t up to scratch. So it was decided to hold a rerun at Aspro’s factory in January 1966, and I went along with my family to watch it being filmed. Sadly this time Aspro-Nicholas won but soon after we received a year’s supply of Radox bath salts!
